From Sloan Downes: 'We were looking at a product liability case and the product is no longer available/has been destroyed. I am choosing “questionable liability” but is there any way to get an option to reflect something that would fit this scenario? With product liability cases (in most states & our criteria), you have to have the product available. But, some product cases, like medical devices or pharmaceutical, the product may not be available but it can be documented thru medical records. Our cases usually involve vehicles, machines, etc (non-medical products) and to prove the defect, we have to have the product available to be inspected, tested and available to the defendant. If the product is not available, we cannot move forward. Let me know if you have questions.'

It would be beneficial for case managers to receive notifications when attorneys are sent cases, to ensure they are aware and can manage the cases effectively.

Leads in the marketplace need more specific information as to the location of the events/collision/injuries/medical malpractice. For people who do not practice statewide, it is not helpful to get leads that do not tell you whether it is in a geographic location that we service.

I would like to request an option to extend the "escrow" period on cases we have accepted & are actively reviewing. There are times we go past the 14-day period whether that be due to the attorneys needing more from the client, attorney roundtables, poor communication from the client but we are interested in the case, etc. We don't want to be charged an attorney match fee if we haven't decided if we wanted the case yet & often it can go over a 2-week time period.

When firms in the same specialty area, like employment law, refer cases, it raises questions about why they aren't taking the case themselves. It would be helpful to require a reason, either through a dropdown or text box, for these referrals. This could save time and provide clarity, especially when the referral comes from a firm in the same field.

Is the waterfall option? Merely a group of private closed networking groups? I’m unclear about that and how I might utilize the waterfall option.r

I find it confusing when notifications refer to cases by the same name, such as 'CAL LAW APC.' It would be helpful if notifications included the client name to distinguish between different cases and reduce confusion.

I would like to use a custom field instead of the default 'Case Type' to map to the 'Type' field in Attorney Share. We have a custom field named 'Potential Referral Case Type' that matches the options in your 'Type' field. This would allow for more accurate mapping of case types to practice areas, especially for referrals.

Currently, the integration maps case types to practice areas one-to-one, which limits flexibility. I suggest allowing multiple case types to map to different practice areas, especially for referrals. This would enable more accurate categorization and avoid using a general catch-all category.
